1LE Splitter

I got my 1le friday, and since i ordered the car, the splitter was still in the trunk to my request.

Now, do i want to install it or just leave it off?
I dont know if I like it on a black car.

What do you guys think? Do you wish yours wasn't installed?

It defiantly makes the car look meaner to me.

Sent from the fast lane!

I think it looks better with it on. Also if you plan on taking the car to the track it will add some downforce to the front end. So it's both visual and functional.

If you like the look better without it then keep it off but if you are tracking the car you may want to put it on.

I'll take it as a back up. Since me wife will probably hit a curb pulling up at dunk in doughnuts with mine. Lol

Part of me wants to do it because it is a 1le. But once i start pulling out my drill to install it i might change my mind... :noidea:

Never knew any 1LE owners whom didn't want the 1LE splitter. If you don't want it, sell it. Plenty of owners that'd take that splitter off your hands.

Candr3535 05-27-2013 12:04 AM

But seriously I'd buy it

Candr3535 05-27-2013 12:05 AM

Pm me if ever you want to part with it. And seriously. It will look badder on your car !

KlugSS 05-27-2013 12:19 AM

I won't sell it. But might just collect dust somewhere.

Looks better on the vehicle than in storage collecting dust. I personally love the contrast. Yes it is hard to see but it goes with the vinyl wrapped hood. I'd put it on.

Midnight Rat 05-27-2013 05:01 AM

yeah it needs to be on, looks so much better.

CrystalRedTintcoat 05-27-2013 12:23 PM

It's not a 1LE without the splitter. If we all pick and choose the 1LE options that we want it's no longer the same car. Led Zeppelin never got back together when Bonham died. They just wouldn't be Led Zep if they threw someone else in there.

SWAG1LE 05-27-2013 12:32 PM

Take it to the stealership and have them slap it on for you please. Don't want you to hurt that beautiful car!

natmad 05-27-2013 02:02 PM

A 1LE with no front splitter is like KATE UPTON with no front teeth... nice hood, but something is missing.

Fixed. :)

Fwiw splitter does not ride in the trunk, but is in the cabin. So if you have passengers you may need to make arrangements to get them home:)
