Fbodfather recognized in Automobile this month

Sorry if a repost but I wanted to make sure everyone saw the one page article on Fbodfather in this months Automobile magazine (Page 20).

A good article on Scott and his passion for Camaro.

Also a nice plug for Camaro5.com and another top site Camaroz28.com

Just finished reading the Ignition Profile on Scott, written by David Zenlea in Automobile.

Now the rest of the autoworld is finding out what we've been privy to for many years: When it comes to Camaro passion, Scott's the recognized leader. And social media, just like this site, is his playground. When Scott "talks", we listen...closely...

Thanks for letting us be a part of the experience, Scott!

I cant wait to read this and what kinda pisses me off is I subscribe to automobile mag for my nook and it hasn't downloaded the august issue yet I would thing one would get it quicker in digital format.

I do love the pic. Scott is the nicest guy in the world but in the photo he looks like he would punch you if you said "Mustang" in his presence. Or maybe just make a phone call and have it "taken care of". LOL

Well deserved recognition. Congrats!

Scott kept the torch burning for many years after the Camaro was "scrapped" for the 2002 model year.

He is a Beacon of knowledge and enthusiasm for Camaros aficionados everywhere.

ssmike 07-01-2013 09:50 AM

:word: Scott has been a real blessing for the Camaro community! Thanks for all you have done for us and the brand! :respekt:

All hail THE GREAT FBODFATHER!

And yes, I've met Scott several times (it helps to live in the Detroit area) and he is the most friendly down-to-earth Camaro fanatic ever born.

Thank you Scott.

That jackoff better get his grubby paws off my future zl1!!!

j/k, the amount of positive replies was overwhelming, had to throw in a negative one.

All Hail Fbodfather!

Thanks for the heads-up, 3. I'm so far behind in my reading that I might not have gotten to it before Christmas otherwise.

It's nice to see Scott get individual recognition. Well done, sir!

...that's why I keep a fleet of black suburbans around - to have 'stuff' "Taken care of".....

Thank you - all - for your kind comments.

I was qute surprised to get a call from David asking for the interview. Monte Doran (GM Communications) and I had lunch with him - lots of discussion - I was leaning more toward how the Disciples help to define the car - and how enthusiasts helped to ensure that the car would come back.....wasn't expecting the article to be about me.

As to the picture - - they took a whole bunch - guess they liked that one best.

My thanks to David Zenlea -- I'm grateful for your thoughfulness.

Great guy, great article, great enthusiasm, great car.
