totally :w00t: where did you take it to get it done? A local body shop? or was it a speciality car store or something? I would be very interested in getting this done on mine!

I'll try to explain this the best that I can.....

Step one take the head rest off. To do this just pull up on the head rest like you normally would to adjust it and when it stop push in on the button to relese the headrest.

Step two take the leather off. To do this on the back underneath side where the crease it there is simply a plastic bar that is holding it on. You have to push in and then down. It can be a little trick but not to difficult. once you have this it is pretty straight foward. Undo the velcro piece, and clip a couple stitches if you have them. My driver side had about 3 stitches holding it in place and the passenger side didn't.

Next step is just pull the leather off, and that is it. It really is very simple should only take a couple minutes.

PM me if you have any other questions. I'll try to take some pictures if you need them.

very nice!

Primus 07-07-2009 09:26 AM

Awesome. I wonder how this would look on the cloth seats of the 1LT. Would you be willing to share your digitization file?

Yup anyone can use the file. Actually someone from Florida just called them asking for them to do it. They called me to see if I wouldn't mind letting someone else use the logo. So they already know that anyone can use the file.

Nicely done!

Very slick and professional!

FNKNSTN 07-07-2009 05:50 PM

Looks pretty sharp. I think the SS/RS should have been offered with a red SS like that.

Here is a picture of the Stock SS logo on my headrest. The red and gray one is one I was messing around with. I took a picture of the SS logo on the back of my car and Digitized it. Let me know what you think. I was going to use it on Sweatshirts for myself.
