ZL1 Recaro Seats

3 Attachment(s)
For those of you that have not had a chance to see the new Recaro seats in a ZL1, here are a few pictures. I spent a lot of time sitting in these seats and they felt really, really good! They are the same seats standard in the Z28 and optional in the SS. The sticker showed them as a $1,995.00 option on the ZL1. I am hoping that these seats are made available to all 2012 and 2013 ZL1 owners at a discount. They have the suede center section and power adjustments of the standard ZL1 seats and should be a plug and play swap. If there are any 2014 ZL1 buyers that were NOT going to buy the option, send me a PM.

It is not adjustable, but it is plenty tall. My head nearly touches the ceiling of my car, and I don't even have the sunroof. However, these seats were comfortable to me.

Not bad at all. Look very nice.

SamHouseIII 08-08-2013 12:05 AM

They do look good, but wondering at what cost, a 2k option maybe 3-4k to buy out right? Got to see what they cost through someone like partstaxi.....

bigssc 08-08-2013 12:06 AM

gave me a woody.

Drm2Reality 08-08-2013 12:33 AM

They are a 3400 option in the ctsv. Look the same so I'm not sure why ZL1 will be any different.

hairtrigger 08-08-2013 12:37 AM

Those are wicked bad and a must have for me. They would round out a perfect looking 2012-2013 ZL1. *cough rear*
Cost may be up there but for me, worth it.

avellanet.jr 08-08-2013 12:53 AM

They are in the ZL1 I ordered..Shipped on its way:)

TripleBlkZL1 08-08-2013 12:58 AM

Are these seats available to order already?

G4M3OVR 08-08-2013 02:52 AM

Damn, those are some sexy seats! Can't wait to get them in mine.

gblaue 08-08-2013 06:16 AM

They still haven't fixed that stupid seat belt holder.

G-Oil Guy 08-08-2013 06:20 AM

power adjustments with the heating or no heat?

DangerZL1 08-08-2013 07:25 AM

Thanks for the pics and review OldJedi. Looking at the seats, they appear different than the ones shown in earlier pics. They look like the seat frames form the regular seats with denser foam and a new headrest??? This is what the optional ones in the Mustang are.

PNYSLAR 08-08-2013 07:29 AM

gotta get option!!!!!!

lbls1 08-08-2013 07:57 AM

I am so glad that you posted these pics. I am really excited about these seats. The recaros are a must have on my order.....I am even willing to sacrifice one or two other options in order to get them. These seats are one of the best options for camaro IMO.

sportyb24 08-08-2013 08:08 AM

Def an upgrade I hope to make!!

silverds 08-08-2013 08:11 AM

This might be a dumb question. Are they still heated?

The CTS-V Recaros are air-conditioned, these are not, so they shouldn't be as much.
