Here is how she sits now----Going to post pics of mods listed above being installed or installed along the way. It has been a Transformation from one vision to the final vision shown below.
Sorry for starting build post late in the game. If anyone has questions feel free to ask.
Once I took delivery in 2010 the Mod bug hit hard. Living in Fort Worth it was a challenge to find a Custom Shop who specialized in lighting and cosmetic type mods. Luckily was able to hook up with Scorpion Customz in North Richland Hills. Owner and mechanic Craig went straight to work installing Halo lighting, 3d Carbon Vents, Reverse Hood, Lambo Doors and Emblem pros Cup holder Switch plate along with Monster Switches for center console. Craig also came up with the idea of Nitrous Purge from 3 D Vents. Cut me a killer deal on entire install!!
Lambos going in
Little bit of wiring
So this was the early stage of having mods done. As you can see Lambos done along with Reverse hood and 3D Vents. Lighting completed at this stage was Halos on headlights and fogs, Grill lighting, Scanner Light and footwells.
Another mod soon after above pic was the Trunk Panel from Jarhead...At the time Jarhead was starting to do more and more with LED lights as seen below. I was able to get a great deal on this as well. This is prior to GM requiring Jarhead to place a Center cut out for trunk release.
Yet another early mod was the Drake Shifter shown below. Loved using the shifter. However, in the last month member CFD created for me a Short Aluminum Brushed shifter to work with my L99 with GM Leather Boot. CFD was great to work with!! I highly recommend this product and included a video below in action. CFD customer service is top notch. I requested a short shifter design from his current longer version. In a matter of days he produced a shifter with install instructions for me to purchase!!!! Now that is a Vendor for you!!!!
Photos of Drake Shifter for Build Thread--
CFD Short Shifter Currently/Recently Installed with Video--
Here is another early on pic....In this photo had the Heritage grill painted IOM from Garys Customz along with SS badge on Grill. Seems like forever ago. Painted Fog Light Bezels as well by Lupe
AAC Side Markers also shown along with little IOM bowties on wheels from Big Worm Graphics
This was when I had Some ACS parts installed which include ACS pod Lighting along with ACS lower fender cutouts. SLP splitter also installed.
I have since gone to the Zl1 front end which I think looks much more aggressive IMO
Photo of the Nitros Purge in Action. To bad she wasn't wearing a skirt. This was at a local Twin Peaks Show and purged triggered from remote.
This was taken right after SLP Concept Diffuser installed. It was painted a flat black by Fender Mender In Keller Tx. They also painted black post on the High Wing.
High wing was installed which involved filling in trunk holes from OEM SS spoiler.
This is before and after pics of engine bay..
Before seeing Andy at ADM which included showstopper dress up and Roto fab engine covers
Current Setup after Andy working his magic. Still working on final look for the engine bay, but have squared away by Camaro Fest.
Open for suggestion on engine bay...Would love to have a cover for radiator from Show stopper to cover radiator since Whipple install.
Those are some really nice changes, the car looks great.
Thanks Black Night for stopping by. Have a Happy New Year!!

Wow great looking car!!!!!

Happy New Year Every one Wow 2014 already!!
Couple of people have asked about my new Shifter and Leather boot install for my L99 (Automatic). Member CFD makes and sells several different types of shifters. The one shown and installed is the "Short Aluminum Brushed Shifter". They are actually discounted until the end of the week if interested. He sales this short version and a long version. CFD also sales the leather boots.
Here is the link to CFD profile to PM him for pricing
The difference in types---
The Long Version is direct plug and play. Very easy installation. Remove screws on back of current shifter and remove. Place new shifter in place and secure. That simple takes minutes.
The Short Shifter I have takes slight modification of the linkage to work. ***Once modified you cannot go back to OEM or another shifter without replacing OEM linkage***
If wanting to return to stock a new linkage is around $175 and must be installed from underneath car. I will show some pictures below what it takes to modify the linkage. It does require a dremel. The bonus of owning this setup is ability to change knobs at any time!!
Here are some pics to modify linkage for short shifter--Be very careful when doing. If cut to small it will not work properly.
Once you have it cut to right dimension its smooth sailing!! Slide shifter on and secure.
Now for the Leather boot install.
CFD does sale the leather boot as well. Another member did a great right up on this already. It can be found here. I followed and work out great.
Here is another link which shows further installation of leather boot. ***Be sure to read to properly fill in the gap between leather boot and cluster***
The end result if Fantastic IMO..Loving it so far and a breeze to operate. Knob was ordered from EPCO. Here is link to EPCO page
thanks for more info about the shifter , it's very clear and looks easy..
i like the seat but not sure if it's gonna be comfortable !
