RPI,

Nice looking stuff. Its not all for me but it looks good. BTW thanks for the rugs. They came in yesterday.

History lesson of the day:
Ghetto = The word "ghetto" actually comes from the word "getto" or "gheto", which means slag in Venetian, and was used in this sense in a reference to a foundry where slag was stored located on the same island as the area of Jewish confinement.[2] An alternative etymology is from Italian borghetto, diminutive of borgo ‘borough’. [3]

The corresponding German term was Judengasse (lit. Jew's Lane) known as the Jewish Quarter.

I am pretty sure that is not what you were referring too. ;) But I digress.

camarowa 07-30-2009 12:55 PM

nice looking stuff, seems to fit very well. Unfortunatelly not my taste, but I am sure some folks will love it.

Rtoups 07-30-2009 01:18 PM

I would consider some interior stuff, but not a fan of the stainless steel exterior pieces.

GRM RPR 07-30-2009 06:27 PM

RPI,

Do you have the hood emblem with black inlay? I like the size to replace the Camaro logo on the sides.

Char1ieone 07-30-2009 09:52 PM

Interior stuff looks pretty good, however the exterior seems a little too "Big Pimpin'-ish" for my taste on a Camaro.

Andro 07-30-2009 09:54 PM

Not my cup of coffee but unique designs

When you quote, dont forget to include the rest of the definition...
But I degress.....

2: a quarter of a city in which members of a minority group live especially because of social, legal, or economic pressure
3 a: an isolated group <a geriatric ghetto> b: a situation that resembles a ghetto especially in conferring inferior status or limiting opportunity <the pink-collar ghetto>

=bobby

Gentlemen - Not "degress"...

But digress - "to go off point", "deviate", "to go off on a tangent", etc....

How long should I expect the kick panel to stay on when attached with the 3M tape?

20 years maybe? Or as long as you have your car. If you kept it longer than 20 years you'd have a classic.

:D

These use 3M VHB tape, the same tape they are now using to hold in windows on high rise buildings. Discovery Channel claims it holds better than metal rivets.

ddunerider 08-11-2009 04:15 PM

Bling Bling for your camaro but not for me ...

glambert1 08-11-2009 04:30 PM

Sir Nuke 08-11-2009 05:47 PM

Hey RPI, good looking stuff, but when are you guys going to start the RS stuff? and just a suggestion, on the SS hood badges, maybe an option of RED for the guys that have SS/RS's, and the other colors to match the car for those that are regualar SS's. Just a thought.

faninc 08-11-2009 07:24 PM

as mentioned, do not forget the RS guys. Would like the cowl emblems in RS.

best
J

I like the A/C vent surround trim. It subtely dresses up the interior, and it sounds easy to install! I think I could handle peel and stick.:)

B - GodZ 08-12-2009 11:10 AM

My only worry, on my previous car I bought a similiar package for the interior and I found that after a summer of 100+ degree temp, the glue on the tape became loose and they started to peel.

Any warranties or guaranties to protect us?

Kyle2k 08-12-2009 11:35 AM

Would you guys by chance still be working on real stainless items for the main gauge bezels?

stainless steel gauge bezels would look awesome:)

CmB 08-13-2009 11:04 AM

Finally someone built the kickplates!!! I will be ordering those for sure.

As for the other items, you do realize anything stainless steel inside the car will heat up and the items like vent covers, armrest inserts are just going to burn you when you touch them? I will avoid those. But kickplates. YAHOO!!!!
