Not supposed to happen to ME.....

So we went out on the town with some freinds and I parked my car in a pretty safe spot (or so I thought) and I get back to find someone hit my car. What the hell do I have to do, never drive it?

I just don't understand. I've NEVER hit anything before in my life while out driving or parking. I just don't understand. If you're not sure about the maneuver, DON'T DO IT. Some peopl, I think, just don't give a $hit about anyone but themselves.

Seems to 'disapear' a little with the black though.

"prima"Donna 08-10-2009 03:59 PM

:( So sorry for you...what's wrong with people????...:iono:

So, are you gonna take it to get fixed???...I found it hard to notice on the Black Camaro, if that makes you feel any better..........

That sucks man! At least you aren't in a University where parking ANYWHERE isn't safe...I know...

The Dark Knight 08-10-2009 04:02 PM

That sucks man! I already got scratch marks on my trunk too...like someone lay their crap on my car and dragged them! Pissed me off!

Musclebee 08-10-2009 04:03 PM

That sucks. It's bad, but it can be fixed. You are right alot of people do not give a crap about other peoples car.

Banshee 08-10-2009 04:03 PM

Same thing happened to me today, not even 4 hours ago....safe spot too.

Came out after a 45 minute lunch and f-ing scratches all over my drivers door..Not 1, not 2, not 3...but 5! I know they weren't there this morning as I washed and dried her. And they are deep clearcoat scratches, some 7-8" long.

Are we being unrealistic, over posessive or what?

People are just downright careless and don't give a rats-ass about other peoples property.

I also got hit in the front fascia and left paint transfer...Luckily with some 3M polishing compound, all but 1 deep scratch came out.

First time I see someone ding my car, rub up against it or otherwise be disrespectful, watch out..going ape S&%t!

JohnnyBfromPeoria 08-10-2009 04:04 PM

Some people can be toolboxes, no doubt.

I picked up a dent on my Scion on the passenger front door recently and it ticked me off...and it's five years old...and a Scion. I feel your pain. Sort of.

How did that happen? Looks like a troll came up and whacked it with a sledge hammer!:paddle:

I thought my car was safe in the garage at my house. My 5 year son asked me if he could ride his scooter, I said sure BE CAREFULL. I went inside the garage and saw a hand print on my front fender, below his hand print was a 3 inch scratch to the metal. Cost me $400 to fix. All toys are off limits inside the garage now! Zero tolerance.

speedster 08-10-2009 04:10 PM

That definitely sucks. Plus no one admits to anything anymore. Losers. It's :bs:

Hope you can get it back to looking new quickly. :)

Not over possesive. Maybe unrealistic but I guess I just expect for people to give me the same respect that I give people.

Appears as if they were pulling in to park and hit my car because they didn't have enough swing room. The other side of my car was against a wall. Really close so I could LEAVE THEM ROOM. The parking spot I left was EXTRA wide.

PAUL SS 08-10-2009 04:12 PM

Crap like that just pisses me off! I am not going to want to leave my car unattended even for a minute. Now my wife will really think I am crazy.

Sorry to see that.

tribone 08-10-2009 04:12 PM

Ouch!!! :mad0260::mad0259::paddle:
So sorry for you man. Some people have no :respekt:. They deserve..... i reserve my comments.
I have a ding on my passenger door and I almost lost it, I could only imagine what you are going through. I couldn't notice it on the black though, I had to look real hard.

P.S. You car shines very nice .

Well...the most noticeable ones are about 1" long...the other ones are longer but barely visible when I apply polish and wax. But yeah...still sucks.

Agreed.

Thats what I was thinking when I found my damage...Can't own up to a simple accident shows no integrity.

You guys should have seen him at the Motorgen meet when a Vette almost hit his parked Camaro head on...and when another Vette tapped his Camaro with his car door
