5th Gen. build underway!

:laugh: Sorry for the misleading title! :laugh:

Actually, to occupy time recovering from my surgery, I started building the AMT model today. Started taking pics. of the build process, and should be done hopefully by the end of the week. Will post pics. as I progress. :)

Stay tuned! :D

Well, engine is completed. :) Interior half way there. :) There could be more detail, and there's alot of flashing to remove, but I'm not complaining! I'm happy there's a model!!! :thumbsup: Wheels are pretty nice too! :thumbsup:

I'm taking pics. as I go along.

Stay tuned! ;)

I ordered three through www.towerhobbies.com and they would have been here Firday 12/02/16 but it snowed and the mail man/woman was unable to locate my driveway. He/she left a curtsey card stating that fact and that he/she would try back. Well its Monday and still no box of goodies. Plus it snowed another 8 inches since 10am this morning and it's still coming down hard. I have a feeling I might be making a trip to the post office soon. I plan on building one to match my real 5th GEN Camaro and saving the rest for the Camaro collection.

I used my '99 SS as "inspiration". :D I'll have picks of both to show what I mean. ;)

Body should "go to" paint today! Most of the final assembly should be completed by this evening. :thumbsup:

Hopefully you all will like the result. :iono:

My brother and I came up with a GREAT idea for another version. I have to locate another model first.

Well, 99.9% completed! :thumbsup:

Couple of problems;

1. The radiator had to be removed in order for the body to fit the chassis better. :mad:

2. After trying for over an hour, I'm still having issues fitting the body to the chassis!!! :mad: :mad:

I'll do my best to make it presentable. :o

Sure hope Revell/Monogram makes a model of the concept! They're much better at it than AMt/Ertl!

Finally made it to the Post Office today. They had my box of goodies.:thumbsup: Now all I have to do is wait patiently for the real deal so I can color match them. :D I'm thinking SOM in a base/clear. :bonk:

Nice job Moose… :thumbup:
