Detroit Auto Detailing Meet Up/Car Show
Detroit Auto Detailing has reached out to our club for a event they would like to do. I am posting this as an event to see if there is any interest, please click "Going" if you would like to go to this. We would need a minimum of 14 cars, so this is a good chance to meetup with fellow Camaro owners. The Southern Arizona Mustang Club was there a few weeks ago with 20+ cars and signed up several new members. Here are the details they sent me:
I would be interested in having Camaro on display like a traditional car show drawing attention from folks driving bye. I would also advertise the car show to not only bring attention to DETROIT AUTO DETAILING but the Tucson Camaro Club as well. We may have a DJ, we will have gift bags with coupons too!. Saturday June 17th from 10:00 to 3:00.

The more the merrier, or something like that :)

GTAHVIT 08-21-2009 10:07 PM

Heard from Evo?

FLYNNZL1 08-21-2009 10:17 PM

He text-ed me earlier around 5:00 he was mins away from getting his Camaro. I am sure he is out showing off right now :) My salesman called me tonight and told me they had a Dark Blue with hockey strips SS/RS that someone back out of for sale, I do not know the specs on it.

GTAHVIT 08-21-2009 10:20 PM

do the dealers there have many cars on the lot or are most of them ordered cars?

FLYNNZL1 08-21-2009 10:30 PM

I think they are all sold in Tucson, unless someone backs out.

Evotion 08-22-2009 01:19 AM

My wife was able to snap a few pics in between the storms tonight. Took about 50 miles or so for the butterflies to go away. I am now very comfortable with the car... there are no words to describe the feeling. These cars are just.............................................. ......................

My daughter wiggled her way in to almost all the pics.:D

:bangdesk:Hi, I don't live in Tucson, but it is the closest larger city to me. I live in Thatcher/Safford, about 120 miles east. My car should be showing up in the next week or so. It says it was shipped about 2 days ago from the plant. I ordered (2nd order long story) 2SSRS in Inferno Orange Cyber gray rally stripes and cyber gray hockey stripes. I also have the dealer putting on the ground effects, Corsa Exhaust, Cold Air Intake, fuel door, and inferno orange engine cover. I would be intested in participating in any Tucson events. Thanks.

Welcome, sounds like you have a sweet ride coming in :)

Hello all. Just thought that I would drop by and say "HI". I may be a little to old to be hanging with you guys but I have never outgrown love for a great car. Have had my new baby for 17 days now, (but who's counting) and it is the most KICK-ASS car that I have ever owned. My first car (1969) was a 67 SS/RS Camaro conv. 350 4sp, white with red interior. Drove that for about a year then traded it in on a new 1970 1/2 Z-28 4sp. Drove that on the street for a year and then turned it into a full on drag race car that I raced for 7 years. This new on is by far the best. If you see me driving around the north/northwest side, give a honk and a wave. I think a full hand showing all five fingers to signify membership in CAMARO5 would be appropriate. Any thoughts?:headbang:
