Giving up the camaro dream for now... bought another gm beauty

I've given up the camaro dream for now. I love them, but couldn't get the right trade deal for cobalt, so I decided to go old school. Went with a GM vehicle near and dear to my rock 'n' roll heart. I bought a 1968 Chevy Caprice and got a great deal on her that I couldn't refuse. She has 46000 original miles with factory 396 L34, TH400, 12 Posi, factory ac delete, power windows and brakes. It has the AM/FM Multiplex system Will have more pics of the interior, but it is all original and looks like it came from the showroom floor almost. Body is in really good shapeand the original vinyl top is in great shape.

I have a 70 Monte I really enjoy it even though
it's not an SS I put it in a lot of shows, won 8 trophys

Both of you have some beautiful looking rides; those are probably the only type of exemption to a new Camaro. Enjoy

Had 1 from every Generation
Still in the railyard since 8/18 sometimes I think they forgot it
I can do nothing but wait

Great looking 68. I think you'll be ok with this compromise!

Yep, love her the more and more I drive her. I definitely get a lot of looks and thumbs up all the time, especially on the highway driving by the new vehicles. When I brought the Caprice home the entire neighbor came by to see the car and reminicsed about there classic rides. Plus with that 396, it'll roast the tires easily.

I love the 60's Impalas. My favorite is '65.

Hey Man- nothing wrong with that!! Sweet ride real nice '68. I love classic cars- the jury is still out on whether I'll like to drive my '67, '77 or my 2010 Camaros. Haven't gotten the 2010 yet (tonight). But....drivin new is nothing like driving a classic :). Others may argue but just not same feel.

Enjoy it!
