Fidanza has released twin disc clutch kits for the 2010 Camaro SS. These Fidanza twin disc clutch kits are designed to hold up to 900 ft lbs of torque while retaining street drivability. Pedal feel is virtually unchanged and engagement is similar to a Stage 3.2 unit. The floater plate on all Fidanza units is strapped to eliminate the rattling that twin disc units are known for. At only 8.75" in diameter rotating mass has been kept to a minimum to maximize performance. These kits are complete setups, including pressure plate, discs, and a flywheel.

Every kit comes with a aluminum flywheel AND has the option for a steel flywheel upgrade!!

Available in the following: (Our price/GB price can be found by clicking the link at the end of this post!)
#398575 Stage 6.5 Organic Twin-Disc w/Aluminum Flywheel 625 ft/lbs

#398595 Stage 6.5 Organic Twin-Disc w/Steel Flywheel 625 ft/lbs

#398576 Stage 7.6 Ceramic Twin-Disc w/Aluminum Flywheel 900 ft/lbs

#398596 Stage 7.6 Ceramic Twin-Disc w/Steel Flywheel 900 ft/lbs

This looks like an excellent upgrade for ANY Camaro SS, stock or modified.
those looking to rebuild those transmissions should always start with a clutch/flywheel upgrade. Fidanza has made many LS3 owners happy with their kits with high satisfaction.

Post up anyone with any questions, discuss, etc.

With this upgrade, where is the new weak point in the drive train for those of us running ~600+ rwhp?

Drove the 6.5 w/ aluminum flywheel in a TT C6 Vette and loved it. Smooth engagement, give it just a little extra gas out of the hole and your good to go, put about 25k on mine before I sold the car, 2 thumbs up!

Wish I had an answer, but I think it may be a transmission upgrade in whole..
Seems what a few members on the boards have already begun doing.

I actually have a buddy with a similar setup, same kit, and he was also TT. He loved his kit, and still has it!

It is very easy to drive everyday, light pedal effort, smooth engagement, total with the flywheel it weighs about 34 lbs... and the weight is centered more on the crank using smaller diameter discs, higher tq capacity etc... i think stock flywheel and clutch weigh over 40 lbs...

I got a fidanza as well love it. The aluminum flywheel lets the motor rev quicker as well. Can notice a difference in performance. Well worth the money.
