Flowmaster Exaust "H pipe back" dealer installed - Videos

After 7K miles I'm glad I decided to upgrade to a New exhaust for my 2010 2SS LS3 M6.

Removed / replaced stock resonators and suitcase mufflers.

This is more than Axial back because straight thru exhaust pipes after the stock H pipe were added to replace resonator. All mounting was done using stock mounting locations. Flowmaster 40 series mufflers were added. The stock round single wall chrome tips were replaced with double wall oval chrome tips.

--- Unexpected Bonus: The car feels lighter and shifts better. Driving in parking lots in 1st gear does not lug now. I had this done at my AZ dealer so my warrantee still applies! Installed price was of the GM Axial back part cost alone.

Hope you enjoy this as much as I am :happyanim:

I ordered the ARH headers and the Noweeds diverters. I showed my wife some clips and she still said that everyday driving with the headers sounds like a motorcycle or lawn mower. OMG! I couldn't believe she was saying that. She said my Suburban with headers and Flowmasters sounded much better as far as sounding muscly. I told her that I think the videos just aren't doing justice.
Well, I've always favored Flowmasters so your thread has made me make up my mind to do the same as you!!! I bet your car sounds real deep and nice at certain RPM range. I hope my muffler shop has those double-walled tips too cause they are noice!
Thanks a ton for the post! The couple of existing Flowmaster videos out weren't doing it for me. ;)

Thanks for all the comments - :chevy:

I grew up with Flowmasters on my modified 79Z28 so that's really why I chose them and yes I still have the Z. I want to do a header "long or short" too but the 4 Cats under the M6 car look like soup cans. I am taking my time on a header upgrade because I want "CARB approval" and it to pass emissions as this is my daily driver.

Was waiting for the drive by and/or in cabin clips. Are you getting the deep Flowmaster sound during normal driving? Just wondering if it sounds like my 07 Suburban at least. Where it could be somewhat quiet, but you could lay into the gas peddle a little and make heads turn as you pass them. And my mufflers seemed to get louder the hotter they got due to the harder I drove it.
Can you get the deep noise out of it by playing with the gas peddle? Just trying to understand why no decent Flowmaster videos are being generated. I don't want to make a mistake. I'll go with Borla or another with decent reviews if I have to.
