So glad I stopped over the the Member Journal Section. That's a great looking car and the posting format with the photos and list of things you've done and plan to do is top notch. Thanks for taking time to share. I'm pretty sure when the dust settles, the IBM will easily be the rarest of the colors produce. The color is stunning!!

No, they are a 2 layer vinyl.

1st Layer is Dark Grey Metallic Vinyl
2nd Layer is High Gloss Clear Vinyl

The 2nd layer provides UVA & UVB protection as well as that High Gloss look to make it seem as if it was painted.

A friend of mine ( Dan ) at getwrapped.ca in Oshawa did them for me and the total bill was only $395 Canadian + Taxes. Less than the $450 it would of cost to have GM do them and ended up with a custom job ( non factory look ) instead.!

Awesome car you have that Retrodude!!! I'm going with the same color scheme, but black leather. Are the stripes Cyber grey, or just something similar from another brand? I'm looking into vinyl stripes for my custom trunk and would like to know if it's the same color as stock.

Thanks!

Hi Mindz,

They are as close to the Cyber Grey colour I could get, however, they are about 1 or 2 shades lighter than the actual CGM colour.
