LSA supercharger rwhp/rwt

Is 700/700 possible on a 1le? If so, what would it take to get there?

Scuzz 07-06-2015 05:37 PM

Possible yes, easy and cheap not really.

Full bolt on, plus heads and cam upgraded. Fuel system upgraded. Lsa blower with the right pullies to spin the blower just shy of 23,000 rpm. High octane fuel.

Then add suspension mods to put it to the ground.

Starts adding up.

Lol 23000 rpm lol

LSA, w/ZL1 pump, ADM FPCM, cam, headers, pulley and 85lb injectors will get you to 650 whp, which is a lot. It's over 750 crank. At that point it becomes hard on the LS3 to get more outside of LSA accessory conversion, or turbo setup.

650 is actually my goal. Just trying to see what it might take to get to 700.

Basically everything we both said and then adding more boost my pulleying down to the 22k-23k blower rpm.

Which will be 14-16 lbs of boost.

Cam choice will have a big effect on how close you get to 700. But that 700 mark is a rough idea of the limit of the lsa blower

I don't think I want to run that much boost. I already have a Cam Motion 226/240 .613/.604 114+3 (8620 core). Do you think it will play nice with the LSA?

650-680 can be done. 700 and up takes alot of work.
CTSV pumps and BAP
1000cc injectors
E85 conversion
Port the blower and snout
Ported LS3 TB
Thats a good combo there, may be better to just get better pumps than the caddy ones. Depends.

I'm at 685/638, that's with added compression, ported heads, btr stage 3 pd cam, 2.5 upper(10.5psi and 22xxx blower rpms) 1000cc injectors, zl1 pump, kb 40amp bap, rotofab cai, d3 hx and reservoir, 2 inch headers and a true 3 inch exhaust

This was on 93 pump, and a locked 4l80e. Would've been over 700whp with a stick.

Next will be a lsa accessory drive(9.55 lower) triple nozzle meth injection, e85, ported blower and 102mm tb.

Should clear 750whp... I would think

You could bolt on a set of twins and make 750-800rwhp with no other mods without even popping a valve cover off. Then if you want more, have room to grow still.

I look back and wish I would have! I'm too far invested now to go back lol.

See that all the time. I was with Kevin the other day and he was saying how he gets a lot of phone calls with people with LSA blowers wanting to trade them in on a TT setup, but there just isn't any used value on them.

Do you do any port work on superchargers, or only throttle bodies?
