As reported on homepage.

I got a couple of pictures last night of a silver 2SS camaro with the backup sensors installed from the factory. Their taken from a blackberry so the quality might not be great. I saw the camaro at curry chevy in scarsdale NY. In case anyone is interested they want ten grand over list for this camaro and the other four they have.

big mike 09-10-2009 10:50 AM

also the vin number of the car was 43,070

IROCanSS 09-10-2009 10:51 AM

So glad I don't have those!

and 10 GRAND!?!?

cab2g 09-10-2009 10:53 AM

they don't look that bad. I'll get used to them.

MisterT 09-10-2009 10:59 AM

they dont want ten grand for the addition. they want ten grand because they say its "fair market value."

Lycanine 09-10-2009 11:04 AM

It's not that bad I guess. Either way I'd have to get used to it since I still haven't ordered yet :(

I'm still surprised that they couldn't find a way to integrate them into the rear diffuser panel instead of on the rear fascia. I was OK with the departure from the concept backend when they put the reverse lights where they did but now it's starting to look like morse code back there.

.-. .-.

Hylton 09-10-2009 11:08 AM

Do you have a wide pic by any chance? I'd like to see the entire rear fascia.

jcamere94z28 09-10-2009 11:10 AM

Wow.. I am glad I got a smooth ass Camaro. :) I am even looking to "relocate" the back up lights.

Not meaning to offend anyone, but if you can't back up your car without a constant "extra set of eyes" then somethings wrong....JMHO...

Revo1 09-10-2009 11:10 AM

They're optional right?...

06blownSS 09-10-2009 11:11 AM

this sucks

Sure, if you buy an LS or a 1LT without the C&C package.

Black5thgen 09-10-2009 11:13 AM

Not as bad as I had thought, but I'm still glad I don't have them. I hope they become a stand alone option on 2lt and 2SS.

FenwickHockey65 09-10-2009 11:13 AM

Could be worse.

I don't see how it can be worse... this was worst case scenario in my opinion

CamaroSkooter 09-10-2009 11:18 AM

So, we early order people have one more thing to make our car's stand out as "one of the first"

Enjoy your dots :)

cab2g 09-10-2009 11:22 AM

If you all are that upset about it, just have the dealer order a bumper w/o the pre drilled holes for park assist when you order your car. Problem solved :)

Not meaning to offend either..... But why not include A/C, Stereo, Power Windows, Power Brakes, Cruise Control, Electric Starters the list should go on, after all...

btw - it means "RR" in morse. Anyone crafty enough to come up with a meaning using "RR" as an acronym?
