Dayuuuuuuuuuum, I thought 2200.00 for BBS CH-R's was bad

tones2SS 09-10-2009 01:50 PM

That does look killer!

Sir Nuke 09-10-2009 05:36 PM

oh yea they look good, no doubt, but not $6000 good, I could get a set of Foose wheels that look just like that, same style, the Nitrous, and are a third of the price.

Sinergy 09-10-2009 05:49 PM

For 6 grand they should come in gold.

What size tires are you using? What suspension?

thanks,

SW

6,000!? That's gotta be a typo. Are they plated in a mil of platinum!? Christ! Those do NOT look like $6,000 wheels, man. If AR actually made Torq-Thrusts that fit this car, I'd have gone for them.

I wanted these so bad... to hell with that. Good luck selling them, though. I'm sure there's a market. They're beautiful.

1500 a wheel is around average for a nice 3 piece wheel. You CAN feel the difference between these and china cast wheels....

NicKey 09-10-2009 06:58 PM

They are certainly not for everybody at that price. Quality, three piece billet wheels are not cheap. However; we are still working on the American Racing Style TTOs. If everything works out they will be available in a one piece cast wheel at a much lower price point.

The first prototypes which they built were not acceptable.

We also plan to have a one piece version of the T70 Style wheel you see here at a much lower price point.

We don't build wheels.....I wish we could get what we wanted off the shelf. Unfortunately that is not the case. We had to have what we wanted custom built at this point.

The suspension components we use are by Pedders. The tire and wheel combo has no issues for everyday driving, but we have not tested this combo at the road race course, yet.

The tires are by NITTO.

We have Invos on the front 275/40/20
Drag Radials on the rear 305/35/20

i would never pay that much for a wheel that looks like that

Doc 09-10-2009 08:07 PM

Wait a minute, are you telling me EACH RIM is $6,000??! That has to be the price for the set...right?

Jferrell88 09-10-2009 08:10 PM
