stop freaking out about the SS price
2 Attachment(s)
The 1SS is priced to sell period. The base SS is said to be very well equipped. As far as price most of you would fork out 37-40g for a 1LE, while having a less than new great interior. ALSO @ 37 thousand it will out perform the 1LE AND last time I checked the 1LE ran rings around the GTPP which btw is 37-40 thousand itself. This car will be 15-20grand less than a stingray, BUT it will perform with in striking distance of it, with a back seat....stop moaning its going to pull 1.0g skidpad its going to run low 4sec range to 60 and low-mid 12's. Correct me if im wrong but many 1le cars did 4.2-60....12.5-12.7@111mph. Now please moan more about being within 2-3car lengths of a chevy's halo car thats 250-300lbs lighter. Seriously just shut up already. THE END

you are definitely not the right person to be giving financial advice to those in the market for a 2ss

The pricing of these cars is spot on. Anyone who is mad is just upset they didn't lower prices and their dream car is just out of reach.
For those thinking the ZL1 or Z/28 is going to stay the same price are also smoking something. Overall they raised the price slightly and honestly for what you get stock compared to the 2015 1SS and 2SS it is a steal. |
The very fact that if you configure a 2015ss right now it will be 38-40 thousand very well equipped. AND THE 1SS will infact be be a definite step up over a 152SS your retarded not to think so. Examples look at exhibit A the C7 its base car interior is leaps and bounds better than the previous car. Honestly do you really think that GM wouldnt make a huge improvement for the camaro also? I am led to believe that GM knows exactly what they are doing as if the sales from 2010-2015 wasnt enough for you. The gen 5 never had a special interior design, and was constantly marked low in comparison to the SRT group as well as the GT. People still bought the camaro anyway because it was truly the better car.

Now also keep in mind you'really getting more power, more torque, more standard options not available in the 2015 cars for that $1000 increase. Seems fair. |
Exactly^^^^^^^^^ thats what iam saying. At least someone with a "modern performance coupe" agreed.

The reason some of us are voicing our opinions about the price is because it is quite a bit higher than we were led to believe. When Al O says that we will be very pleased and I believe Mark Reuss said sometime back that prices would be very close to the 2015, a lot of were shocked a bit. The price for my order, MSRP, is about $48K, + taxes, DMV, etc, that is $50K! That is in Corvette territory, yes I know 1LT base or if you buy from Kerbeck, a 2LT with a few options can be had for only a few thousand more....that is least my thinking and 2 cents...having said that I am excited for 6th gen Camaro and just spoke with my dealer tonight and he agreed to sell me the lower price of Supplier or invoice, and we all know which one that will be, so I am OK with that price.
