I'm not a subscriber - post the article, unless it's old news :D

You can "subscribe" for free. All you need to enter is your first and last name and an e-mail. None of the information is verified either, so you can use false information.

Good "find" 'alleykt123'!

I like that rendition better than any of the other 'vert pics. I've seen to date.

Thanks Tran! By the time I found the article, I was bein' kicked outta my office (something about people wanting to go home from work :iono: ) Only had time enough for a quick post.

TAG UR IT 12-29-2006 11:03 AM

Good grief! I tell you. Everytime I see the rendition of a vert concept, I start thinking about how much I'd like to get a vert. The thing is, I hate verts! Now, I can't say that...ugh... :help: If it's going to be a canvass top, I wouldn't buy one. I don't want to run the risk of someone getting pissed at me and "woops", there's a new cut in the canvass top. But, just take a look at those pictures! :D That is IMO, the best looking Camaro vert I have ever seen. :eyebulge: It is just gorgeous! Thanks Jason for posting the article. I was going nuts trying to find it but had no luck!

I simply can not get over this picture. White/black leather interior? Silver dash instert instead of orange? This is just gorgeous! If the interior looks anything like this, they hit the nail on the head (still a little off on the radio, but hey, it can be changed). The entire package as a whole in this picture is just beautiful...okay...I'll give it a rest.

GM, you make this a hardtop and you've got urself a deal.
Yeah, I know it won't be done.......but I can dream.

LowRider 01-02-2007 11:07 AM

I like it nice find!

IToldYouSo 01-03-2007 03:22 PM

ill take a hard top still. looks sweet but im more of a performance guy than i am cruisin with the top down.

Camaro_Man_101 01-09-2007 02:30 PM

yea hardtops r way better than frickin convertables perfromance is the key to all cars wth the hard top of course convertables ruing the whole look of the car in my oppinion

http://windingroad.com/download?issue=new#

For anyone w/ the winding road subscription, check out the latest issue where it talks about the 2011 Trans Am and the upcoming release of the Camaro Concept. For those that don't have a FREE subscription to the computer magazine, subscribe...there are NO catches. Plain and simple, it's FREE!!!

Anyone know how to download the active pages to jpeg format so I can print the pix? I'm trying everything possible, but it just won't seem to work. If I have to, I'll re-type the entire article for everyone to read. I'd really rather not go that route.

try using the "print screen" button on your keyboard and pasting in into MS Paint....

hit the print screen button about 6 times and not a single thing happened. Then, I tried using control and the print screen button, then alt and the print screen button. Nothing seems to be working. The button says Print Screen w/ an underscore and SysRq below the underscore. This is the right one, right?

Yeah...I can't figure it out. Try this one. I think it gets you into the mag.

lol... yeah that is the one. you just hit print screen and it "copies" whatever is on your screen at the moment. You can then go into MS paint or Word or any other app that lets you paste images. Just open MS paint goto file --> new document. then hit ctrl-V or goto edit paste.... you will see your image there.

Well, I got the first one...I don't know how (cropped and all). And now I can't seem to dupe it w/out copying and pasting my entire screen. This is driving me nuts. Here's the pic of the TA.

Yup, can read it just fine....

To be honest... I kind of like it! The hatchback actually looks pretty sweet. I think the T/A and Chevy could co-exist if they were to look that different from one another.... I bet with that T/A t-tops would work!

EDIT: However, i really have to doubt the validity of their journalism. It says that the Camaro is likely to cost thousands more than a mustang. They also said the base will have a 3.6L and the SS a 6.0L. What is that nonsense about the IROC name coming back? I thought they dropped that becasue they were having to pay way too much to IROC per each car sold with that acronym....

EllwynX 02-23-2007 05:03 PM

The front looks like a cross between a 2004 Sunfire and a 1993 Trans Am. Not ugly, just an observation.

The rear? I don't like the height of the rear at all. Reminds me of the old CRX that was so high in the rear they had to make part of it see thru so you could see out the rearview mirror (wasn't the Aztek like that too?). Make the rear not look so bulbous (sp?) and it might work.

All in all, the Camaro looks much better imo.

EDIT- So they think it will 'likely start thousands more than a Mustang.' LOL

Sorry, BUTT ASS FUGLY... :barf:

I'm with Cas, This is most likely an illustration and wishful thinking...
