Hello norcalwheelman,

There are quite a few vendors on the forum who are offering a special price or group buys. Here are a couple to contact :

1. sales@jdpmotorsports.com

2. Stealth Performance |713-376-9090 |Stealthvettes@yahoo.com

Thanks,
David

We ordered ours from the dealer. It's a GM perfromance part and with install $495. We will be waiting on the part thou- could be awhile. We were told be careful on aftermarket air intake warranty could be voided.

Hello Kms,

Aftermarket Air Intake systems Do Not Void the Warranty. That is a false statement.

There is a Federal law that states aftermarket performance parts do not void the manufacture warranty. The federal law overrides the dealership!

The dyno reading is for a v6 camaro not a v8, it shows only a little over 300hp not 400

Hello SikMaro,

The Dyno sheet is from our 2010 6.2L L99 that we tested on our in house Mustang Dyno.

Keep in mind, these are rear wheel numbers, not fly wheel numbers.

Thanks,
David

aftermarket cai will void your warranty!!ask any dealer.and i dont think there is a federal law that overrides any thing,if there is please post it with a government website for all to see.our dealer as well as others we have called said anything other than a GM part, except a filter and cat back exhaust will void your warranty!!

SikMaro 10-02-2009 02:53 PM

Although you are right. If the dealer says nope your warranty is voided, then what are you going to do? You have to pay a lawyer. It's all on you to prove that what happened was not due to the aftermarket part. It's gonna cost you some bucks to take them to court.
