Michigan FBody Association Fall Picnic 2010

Hey guys,

I wanted to extend an open invitation to our 5th gen friends from Camaro5 for our Fall Picnic that MiFbody.com is having on October 17th. It's being held at Elizabeth Park in Trenton, MI - south of Detroit.

More information can be found here:

Hope to see a few Camaro5 members there! :) :) :)

Thanks to both of you! :) We hope the weather holds out! I keep wishing global warming would give us one more warm meet up - I'll take anything above 55*F :D :D :D

Highbeam 10-13-2009 12:29 PM

I really, really hope I have time to make it out there to take some photos...*fingers crossed*

meissen 10-13-2009 01:32 PM

OneHottRS 10-13-2009 09:56 PM

If you can't make this one, mark your calendars now for June 5th 2010 - Bakers of Milford, Milford MI :) We hold our yearly car show there - had about 250 FBodies last year and at least 5-10 5th gens. :) Actually... whether you can make it to this Saturday's or not, mark your calendar anyway. ;) :)

Definitely keeping that one in mind!! :D

*edit* By the way, the picnic begins around 11, but anyone know about when things would wrap up for the day? I ask because I might still be able to adjust my scheduled photoshoot time to earlier or later in the day to better accomodate the show... Thanks!

Around 4pm or so a group is planning on doing a cruise, but another group will more than likely be staying behind to just hang out and relax for more photo ops (myself possibly included). So, you can either go for the cruise with everyone or hang back. We try to give everyone options since we know some people have commitments for the morning. :)

My shoot was cancelled, so I'll be able to come to the picnic around midday :) But I don't think anyone would want me cruising with the Camaros, since I have yet to own one myself :P I just take the pics.

I wish I could attend, but I'll be at an event in Holland, Michigan.

John Kouw Family / Car Show
Saturday, October 17, 2009
Olive Engineering
14354 Blair St, Holland, MI
(616) 399-1756 ‎

John builds amazing hot rods at his shop Cruisin Customs, LLC. There has been a serious illness in his family. While he has done all the things responsible people do the situation has taken a toll. This car show is intended to let John know we all care and he is part of a community. Every car guy in Michigan -- THAT ISN'T GOING TO BE AT the Michigan FBody Association Fall Picnic 2010 -- is welcome to attend. The Pedders Camaro will be on display.

Hey Pete - that's a great show and a great cause to be there! If we were on that side of the state, I guarantee we would have had a large group go to that show. :) Hope to see you again soon. :)

We had a great time out there at the park - it was really cold but there was tons of food and tons of great people. :) Below is a link to the picnic. Big "THANK YOU" to everyone who came from Camaro5.

I wish I could have been at both. Thanks for the good thoughts. John and Elaine could use your prayers too.
