SS side badging

Has anyone put the SS badging onthe side of your car? Any pics?
The 69 had the side badging under Camaro name and I think this would add to the look of the car. Any thoughts?

Seen several and it's actually starting to grow on me...check out the photo section and look thru those pics...you'll run across several!

I did it, I used the red SS badges to match the rest of the car. Some people are using badges of different font or color, i think if its gonna be done it should match but to each his own.

Is that the small SS emblem that comes on the grill and rear?

Yes they are exactly the same as front and rear.

some have gotten the SS off of the '69' and used them, some, like myself, have put the fender flags off of the '67-68', its all personal choice.

Here's my "SS" Side Badging on my IOM. The black vinyl inserts really set it off with the black stripes

Looks a bit crooked. :iono:

I did it on mine, and it looks awesome. For the life of me I cannot figure out why GM did not do this from the factory. SS emblems always need to be on the fenders in my opinion

2010 SSRS 10-04-2009 09:03 PM

Savage, I agree with you 100%, GM should have has the SS emblems on the fenders and I also think they should have had the bigger SS emblem in the center of the grille where the bowtie is, but all in all they did make the best looking Camaro ever, and I love mine.

DefenderWorx offers both chrome and black RS and SS side/hood badges. We will have color inserts shortly if you wanted a different look than the 2 straight colors.

Got White SS on my VR and love it!!

Det57 10-06-2009 11:21 PM

I put the same red SS emblems that are on the trunk on each of my front fenders as well. My car is I/O and they look like factory....Like they SHOULD be.

I also added the Camaro emblem with the SS after it on my dash on the gray strip in front of the pass seat. Looks nice and should have also been a factory piece. Just my opinion.

Either way you do it.....GM should have.

Used the GM SS & RS emblems with the red removed. Took the red SS off the grill and trunk.

Everybody still asks "What kind of car is this?" .... And I think the Camaro Billboard looks good IMO :D

2010 SSRS 10-08-2009 07:41 AM

Is the SS emblems on the Impala SS the same SS design as the Camaro SS emblem? I know that is a much bigger emblem than the Camaros, but I like the bigger SS emblem like the Impala's, I wonder how that would look on the Camaro fenders?

KATHY63 10-08-2009 07:41 AM

'69 emblems

We have put on the '69 script emblems and they look awesome!! Some people look and look and they can't figure out what is different about ours and theirs.
