Wanted: DIY & HOW TO's pics and step-by-step instructions

Ok you guys, I have a task for all of you.
Any modifications you are doing,
or any servicing you are doing.
be it:
oil change,
rear fluid change,
wheel changes,
CAI swaps,
exhaust swaps,
halo swaps,
decal applications,

anything and everything you guys are doing to these cars.

I want pics and step by step instructions of what you are doing. I am wanting to build a HOW-TO: Everything. for our fellow members. and I need your help. take as many pics as you can, point out specific things that you encounter. hang ups, etc. like the issues with the skip shift eliminators being installed on the wrong harness.

anything and everything guys.

this will ben extremely helpfull, great idea!

There is quite a bit of that already on these threads. Just scan through them and transfer them to this thread if your willing...good luck. You would need a list of the mods posted in your first post with the post # so that we wouldn't have to go through all of the pages to find what we want... IMO.

Good idea if you can get cooperation. This will be extremely useful.

May I give a suggestion of how it should look?

Here's a sticky from Toyotanation for my Camry. I've used it on many occasions for ideas and such on my other car.

http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=220549

I took a few other pictures from my blue LED ambient lighting in the dash of the Camaro if you wanted it. There are of course other threads on that though.

I gave this to Milk:

DIY: SIDE GILL FADE AND OUTLINE INSTALL

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/wiki.p...UTLINE+INSTALL

...and sent him pics some time ago. It seems to be popular.

I'm going to take everyones How-to's and build a comprehensive list of them all (with multiples if I can) with as many pictures as I can get and make a sticky with them all so all you DIY'ers out there can have a place to go for info.

Do you want this posted here, or just a link to where it is?

CamaroSpike23 12-09-2009 01:20 PM

start a new thread and add the link to it in here.

Also, if you guys could.... try and list your pictures with the step that the correspond to. and try and put everything in one post or multiple posts. I know sometimes others jump in and post before you can get your full write-up posted (if it takes multiple posts) and if this is the case, PM me and I can re-arrange the posts so that your write-up is sequential.

Thanks.

Spike.

Rodimus Prime just gave me an idea with his "Easy 100lb diet" thread....

if you guys are pulling parts off the car to swap with new/aftermarket parts, or just removing parts in general. weigh the new parts before install and the old parts after removal.

Lets get a "Camaro Diet" list compiled so we can get this baby light on her toes!

Any instructions on removing faulty ABS Speed Sensors and installing After-market Speed Sensors (like this one) and then hot-wiring them to the ABS Computer for the 99 Camaro.

Thanks and I will research too and post if I find some helpful related articles.
