personally I think we should make our own camaro club. For the guys, and gals, down here in the south. What'a you guys say?

Come on people I know we've got a bunch of us down here.

EDIT: update on club info. Ok to make sure that we get members that r gonna stick around, I decided to impliment a 100 post minimum for all people wanting to join. Just so we don't get a bunch of people that won't ever show up.

CamaroSpike23 07-26-2008 05:30 AM

ya know, if you wait more than 12 minutes for someone to post...

and considering that its 5 in the morning...

The_Beast_ 07-26-2008 05:33 AM

hey its only 2:30 here. and y the hell r u up at 5 in your time.

The_Beast_ 07-26-2008 11:10 AM

Okay now I suddenly fell very alone and like someone is watching me. Can we get back ontopic before Mr. Norris finds me. :scared0016:

Mindz 07-26-2008 11:57 AM

I don't think many people check the regional boards. =/

The_Beast_ 07-26-2008 12:04 PM

thats why I made another one on the general. thinking ahead.. thats why we're our own region.

stovt001 07-26-2008 04:00 PM

Hey so I'm interested in a So Cal club. It seems most of the clubs in this area mostly do classic car shows and cruises. I'd be interested in ones that do track days and the like, though I'm always up for a cruise or car show too!

The_Beast_ 07-26-2008 04:46 PM

Awesome that make a total of 3 of us that what in. I jsut wish the rest from So Cal would just respond.

Come on somebody gotta go for this. Y dont you people check this.

alleykt123 07-26-2008 11:28 PM

Sure, why not!

The_Beast_ 07-27-2008 04:05 AM

Ok now we've got 4..
I sent PM's to every user from So Cal alot more people should be showing up.

Mindz 07-27-2008 04:31 AM

WTB more active NorCal members...

The_Beast_ 07-27-2008 04:33 AM

well I figured that none of you guys would come down here. But you guys have to have your own. California must set the tone for the rest of the forum regions to start one.

Mindz 07-27-2008 04:48 AM

heh. Well most of the bay area people kinda have stopped posting. There's a few people around but they just joined not too long ago.

rocknrollcali87 07-27-2008 04:55 AM

Hey I'm down

The_Beast_ 07-27-2008 04:02 PM

MIndz I think you should rally up your troops. Personally I believe every region should have its own chapter of our soon to be offical Camaro5 F-Bod "club", I thinkit would be a great way to spend Time with your car(s).

EDIT: I got it well call It The Camaro5 F-bod Association! oh that sound more "official"

Mindz 07-27-2008 04:05 PM

But it's not considered an F body. They did however get the 4th number of the VIN to be an F anyways.

The_Beast_ 07-27-2008 04:17 PM

camaros have been f-bods so lets just keep calling them f-bods. and uh lets just keep that between us ok.:paddle: we dont need that getting out.:sm0:

Mindz 07-27-2008 04:32 PM

Don't ask a dealer for a new F-body...all I'm saying. =)

BTW, you guys will have to keep me updated on your events. My father lives off Stockdale HWY in Bakersfield and I'm sure I'll be spending a bit of time down there with my vert.

Bakersfield is in Central CA, not So Cal ;)

I agree about dropping the F-bod moniker, why not just call ourselves the "Camaro5 So Cal Association" or "C5SCA"
:headbang:

Mindz 07-28-2008 01:07 AM

it's an hour from the grapevine and I go to anaheim/san diego a lot while I'm down visiting my dad for weeks on end...

rocknrollcali87 07-28-2008 01:31 AM

ALright so what's to expect of this group? Meetings? drives?

This is soooooooooooo true lol

The_Beast_ 07-28-2008 04:37 AM

Technically Bakersfield is in Kern County and I count southern Cali from Kern county and down so bakersfield is ok.

My general plan is to have a monthly group get togethers at locations around our northern So Cal area, since most of us live up here, and an every other month race day at the Pomona track. Along with planned drives along certain routes.

EDIT: I think the requirments should be:
1. A. must have an american muscle car.(any brand) or B. Must have a GM Muscle car.(no Mustangs)
2. Must be a forum member.
3. Obiviously must live down here.
4. Possibly and membership fee? (and like a shirt that comes with it and like a sticker or something)
and ya feel free to make a suggestion.
