Magnaflow Catback Installed

Hey Guys just wanted to share my latest project. I installed the new Magnaflow Street Series catback and it sounds great with a nice deep tone with absolutely no rasp at all.

Videos Here. Sorry it was a very windy day

Just want to say that Jordan and the guys at Magnaflowplus.com - JDP Motorsports, took realy good care of me. They gave me a great price on this system with super fast Fedex shipping and if anyone of you is intrested, you should contact them before the end on January so they can hook you up as well.

The price is too low to post, just contact them and you'll see.

Guys If you want 0 raspiness through the whole RPM range this catback is the way to go IMO.

Very nice, you went with the Street Series. I went with the Comp Series.

which are louder comp or street?

STRUT1 01-20-2010 10:48 PM

Which one is louder, comp or street? I'm on the market and want something that sounds mean both when I'm driving and when I'm just sitting at a stop light. I need something that sounds intimidating. ARG!!!

Comp Series is louder and more aggressive. It's an encased xpipe leading into straight pipes, no mufflers. Sounds beautiful!

FISHTAIL: was the price you paid lower than the price listed on the website?

Thanks FISHTAIL for the videos...sounds really good!

Guys I paid $800 with shipping for the Magnaflows stainless steel catbacks and the rasp is 100% gone and I was left with a nice deep tone. Have not dyno the car but it does have more torque and HP that you can feel. The quality and craftsmanship is second to none with a lifetime warranty. IMO is the best bang for you buck, It’s the best money spent next to the purchase of my Camaro. "If you try to save a little now you'll pay twice later". (Words of wisdom from gramps. RIP)

Love the sound of your cat backs...forsure! Too bad by the time I'm ready to purchase (something), these will be back up over the 1000 dollar range. The axel back version sounds close to yours from what I can gather through the video on here, but perhaps with a bit less depth to them.

Agree, I hear no rasp in your vids at all!

kind of hard to get an accurate feel for the sound... wind noise and perhaps overloading the mic... :iono:

Im waiting on mine , should be here first of next week...Street model 16583..paid $700which included shipping from CA.....best price I could find, the GM performance intake system is SUPPOSED to be out the 28 of January...gonna ad that at the same time.

Hope you can redo your video...wind sure detracts from it.......

FISHTAIL 01-27-2010 05:25 PM

eynigush had installed the Comp series on his V6 Camaro before he traded it in for the SS. ask him were he got them.

i007spectre 01-27-2010 07:22 PM

the street series is fine for me, i was just wondering cause all the comp series i found were for v8 ss. hey when its not windy could you take some more video, maybe one from the inside of the car. Thanks.
