:sm0::sm0::bellyroll::laughabove:I saw these pis of the camaro. People fuss about the location of the bowtie. Well I tell you what. Not having one there makes the car look silly as hell. It is like you took the man hood away from the man. Just went to a scary visual place.

I feel that we should have pride in the manufacturer. I probably won't remove my GM logos, and I may keep the bowtie on the front if the SS doesn't look good in the center.

ucla1ove3 09-22-2008 09:53 PM

the thing i wanna do is paint the little lettering of GM on the side where the badging is body color. So it will Be like a silver outline with my proudness of GM in IOM lettering

i think that looks sick with out a bowtie

makes it look like a supercar of some sort

pinkcamaro10 09-23-2008 12:24 AM

it looks like its missing part of its "face"

Rallysport 09-23-2008 12:52 AM

Replace bowtie with SS badge. Enough said. If you don't know it's a Chevy, you are not a car person...in fact you are not "carworthy".:paddle:

stermiester 09-23-2008 01:04 AM

Regular SS for base SS, red SS for SS/RS, red RS for LT/RS, bowtie for LS and LT (w/o RS)

logan1080 09-23-2008 10:15 AM

I am going to get the grill inserts anyway so the bowtie will be deleted.

If they don't know it's a Chevy, I think that this is an opportunity to draw some attention to the Chevy line. That's one reason my bowtie may stay.

CWI 09-23-2008 11:26 AM

My bowtie will be black

MB2010CC 09-23-2008 11:33 AM

Ditto^^^

Kyle2k 09-23-2008 04:08 PM

The bowtie seems to add contrast to the car, no matter what color the bowtie is, I think it should stay on the nose!

EllwynX 09-23-2008 05:23 PM

I want the grille insert also. So there won't be a bowtie on mine.

On the regular grille though, it doesn't look right without the bowtie.

lalometalik 09-23-2008 05:34 PM

i want a giant swastika on the front! :sm0: ok jk

i would be content with the bowtie, but the 'SS' badge would be that much better IMO

Yeah Mine Too.. Or Maybe Body Color Matched...

headpunter 09-23-2008 06:55 PM

mine will be blue to signify its homebuilt ZL1 status, it may just not have one on the front or atleast were you would expect it on the front

oldbowtie 09-24-2008 06:48 PM

I'll leave it the way it is (gold bowtie with SS off to the side). What would you expect from "Old Bowtie"?

did'nt mention before...cars I've owned:

1970 Chevelle (1974 to 1991)
1966 Chevelle (1971 to 2007)

fastball 09-24-2008 08:50 PM

I am seriously considering replacing my bowtie with the Camaro shield if it is not already on the car somewhere.

Can someone photo shop a Camaro badge on to the front of one from the Indy show?
