Link isn't working for me... are they by chance the photos of the structural components on the orange or red car?

The_Blur 11-11-2008 12:23 PM

I can't see them either. Is it possible for you to attach them to your post?

SimC33 11-11-2008 12:26 PM

This is WAAAAYYYY off topic, BUT can someone confirm wether or not we get that chevy fire guard thats on the underside of the hood? I love it

Evotion 11-11-2008 12:30 PM

Those are the ones I was sent this morning, from of all people the place that is selling the SS for $55k.

They are from NACE which was just apparently wrapped up around same time as SEMA. This is the E-mail...

Attached pictures from NACE.

New Camaro photos. Good info for SPS01&07 programs

The rear rail has a factory seam just forward of the floor opening, so it does not require complete replacement all the way up under rear seat if damaged in rear.

Badass...thanks

LadiesMan217 11-11-2008 12:41 PM

Is this IOM? If so...that's pretty freakin' bright.

rico-2SS 11-11-2008 12:42 PM

Please tell me that is IOM???? Did I miss that someplace???
Good that is sick looking

LarkVille 11-11-2008 12:57 PM

That can't be Inferno Orange. It looks too good.

It wasn't body color on the Silver SS though. It was just a depression or raised area in the hood insulation shaped like the bowtie.

Chemical 11-11-2008 01:05 PM

That is NOT IOM. You can go look at your local dealership to see the real color. I do want to know what color that is, it looks great.

Oh My God...That Orange is Killer!...that can't be IOM..Someone please confirm that color..Why does GM do this??..maybe thats going to be a color for the vert..dayum..I would be changing colors if that was offered.

91t/a 11-11-2008 01:13 PM

thats pretty cool, i wish i could see it in person

The_Blur 11-11-2008 01:16 PM

That's a really nice look at the Camaro beneath the flesh. :coolpics:

ctk1 11-11-2008 01:21 PM

WTF!!! That is orange GM!!! That is the orange that I want! That is the orange that WE want! I got all excited thinking this was actually a high res, actual color shot of IOM. Probably just wishful thinking. I hope that when Ford and Chrysler go out of business that GM will hire their paint department, because those people have good taste in colors!

MB2010CC 11-11-2008 01:34 PM

Im not even a big fan of the color orange but that does look pretty darn sweet!!! The third to last pic is my fav!!! It got me so excited for my Camaro to come.

GTAHVIT 11-11-2008 02:32 PM

Nice find.

That's pretty cool.

headpunter 11-11-2008 02:36 PM

WHO CARES ABOUT THE COLOR.......

seeing those pictures makes me cringe a little....those wheels are boxed in alot by wheel wells and suspension....and i dont want offsets going out on the car.

o2camaross 11-11-2008 02:52 PM

headpunter, it looks like there is about two inches to play with in the rear wheel well.

toxicity 11-11-2008 03:19 PM

that really is a nice orange and i love the bow tie on the heat gaurd

doesn't this angle look like a supercar or something exotic like Lamborghini or Ferrari?

radz28 11-11-2008 03:31 PM

SWEET!!! Look at all those sectioning areas and such. These represent a lot of where and what parts can be replaced depending on collision damage. Very interesting.

lalometalik 11-11-2008 03:32 PM

^^^ thats my fave pic out of the bunch.
it reeks of bare awesomeness
