Featured COTW on CAMARO5 HOMEPAGE.

I have had my ZL575 about one month and entered my first car show this past weekend. We had a blast.

SPECS:

SLP TVS 2300 High-Output Supercharger Assembly
SLP PowerFlo Stainless Axle-Back Exhaust System
SLP Blackwing Cold Air Induction System
High-Output Supercharge Assembly
Modified Stock Engine Covers
Sport Suspension
Performance RTM Hood w/Functional Heat Extractor Scoop and Fascia Closeout Panel Insert
Functional Rear Spoiler
20" Five-Spoke Red Line Wheels

Optional additions from SLP:

Brembo Sport Disc Brake Upgrade
Brembo GT Front Brake Package (This enabled SLP to take away the MPH limit)
Adjustable Sway Bar Package
Front Grille Insert and Heritage-Style SS Badges

My Modification
Painted Bubble Bee style stripes including roof stripes. These were painted on after using a set of vinyl stripes as a template.
I also chose to move the front fender SLP badging to the hood.

Awesome ride.. What show did you attend? And, I see you are a fellow North Carolinian. I live in Wake Forest, work in Raleigh (RBC Center). A bunch of us have recently formed the Triangle Camaro Club (sponsored by Hendrick Chevrolet of Cary).. We have a Social Page on this site too under the club name - still trying to get it up and running, will have a logo to vote on soon.

We meet the 2nd Monday of every month at Hendrick (tonight 7pm) and I coordinate minutes for the meetings as well as scheduling activities. A group of 10 Camaros rode up the the NASCAR Hall of Fame on Saturday. Send me a PM if you would like to take part in some activities with us. We have no fees, we just want to have a good time and meet more Camaro owners.

Looking forward to meeting your car - and you. Lori

I really like the SLP Wheels...

This car show was in Greenville on 8/7/2010. I was the only 2010 camaro participating although a couple of Camaro5 members did stop by to show support. I live in the Raleigh area so I am very interested in meeting all of you. I don't think I can make it tonight or next week.

Thanks for the invite

Stefan

Nice looking car, but what happened to the ZL Badging on the fenders. Yours would be the only one I have seen without it? Is it real?

2010 SSRS 08-10-2010 10:47 PM

Bad Azz Camaro

Barefooter 08-10-2010 10:53 PM

Looked a little closer and you have the ZL575 badging on the back. Sorry I implied it might not be real. it has the right spoiler and hood too. Look in my garage and you will see the badging yours is missing in the front fenders. I would ask the dealer and SLP where they are. Definitly needs them. Again nice car.

This is my least favorite color for the Camaro and I dont like those wheels typically, but no jokes this all comes together and looks good. I really like your Camaro:w00t: its clean and looks well sorted. Def worth COTW. I also like your new hood and filled in mail-slot. This car hits that retro look really well. Youve changed my opinion on this color:chevy:

If you look at the hood you will see the badges are there. When I bought mine that is where they were also,I think that the dealer put them there. I had them order me an extra set for the fender, but came without the "supercharger".

Nice car looks great. Are you driving it or is it a garge queen?

Very Cool and congrat's!

TXGooch21 08-23-2010 01:03 PM

Do you guys like how the SLP cars cover the mail slot? I like the mail slot look, separates the V6's and V8's...I assume most Camaro fanatics would notice the difference between a V6 and a SLP 575 but still.....

I was asked to give a bit more detail on the SLP modifications.

SLP PowerFlo Stainless Axle-Back Exhaust System
SLP Blackwing Cold Air Induction System
High-Output Supercharge Assembly
Modified Stock Engine Covers
Sport Suspension
Performance RTM Hood w/Functional Heat Extractor Scoop and Fascia Closeout Panel Insert
Functional Rear Spoiler
20" Five-Spoke Red Line Wheels

Optional additions from SLP

Brembo Sport Disc Brake Upgrade
Brembo GT Front Brake Package (This enabled SLP to take away the MPH limit)
Adjustable Sway Bar Package
Front Grille Insert and Heritage-Style SS Badges

My Modification
Painted Bubble Bee style stripes including roof stripes. These were painted on after using a set of vinyl stripes as a template.

I also chose to move the front fender SLP badging to the hood.

Do you guys think I should also put them on the front fenders?

I was also thinking about adding some the Corvette badges under the Camaro badging, What do you think?

Thanks for all the comments.
