the bottom line is, for some unknown reason MPG threads always turn into a "mine is bigger than yours"...

most likely. the funny thing I noticed with mine is on the highway I can easily get 30-35 mpg. but just stop and take off from one traffic light with about a 30 second wait, and it drops down to 28...
