First ones are rolling off the line in a couple of weeks, then add on the boat ride and the rest of the journey (3-4 months after being built is pretty typical).

That's crazy. What if I wanted to rotate my tires or work on the brakes in my garage. I would definitely encourage him to go back for the stock ones or the key.
