Damn right! My car is white and you'd probably be hard pressed to find anything but I could point out every chip, xpel ding or bubble, and dirt under the clear coat that's on the car.

The same thing happened to a buddy in his old Audi TT (car shut off when he bumped the key)... don't recall a recall, ha ha! Anyway, I agree that GM being under the microscope is a factor in this.
