True, but they could have easily programmed that functionality into the door switches. Still seems like unnecessary switches.

I'm guessing it works the same as the door...

I'm guessing it works the same as the door buttons. Activates the alarm after 30sec? I always touble-tap the key fob to arm immediately and get the honk.

Yeah, I always use the key fob to lock/unlock when I get in and out, but I use the switch on my door every time I need to let someone else in, or if they don't know about the "pull twice to open"....
