I'm thinking about the 18" KMC Rockstar wheels...

I'm thinking about the 18" KMC Rockstar wheels for snow tires. It's hard to tell (from the photo) if the finish would stand up to the salt and slush. Any comment on the durability of this wheel?

You may be refering to the practice of suspending special treated chrome lug nuts across the rear of the engine using tesla wire. It's a tedious process but often improves the engine.
