Pretty much every car kit we do runs the D1 mostly due to the owners always want more power in the future and it's a cheap difference in the beginning.

I've done a few gen 6 Procharger kits. Top quality, haven't found any issue's with them. The engine bay is real tight. The upper/maf pipe has been holding up fine.

Changing the exhaust is illegal in MA. Everybody still does it. Stop by my shop and see the cars, then you'll really scratch your head on what people do and drive them daily.

You can drive the car no problem after headers without a tune. Depending on brand of headers will dictate how long before engine light but that will have no affect on how it runs.

I've tested, dyno's the Z06 with a Callaway package and another with pulley,intake and headers. The pulley car made more hp/tq at a fraction of the cost. I highly doubt any long term reliability...
