You're fine with a GM approved conventional oil. Only the L99/LS3 require synthetic. The V6s can use syn. and probably is recommended but not required.

The LS is the only V6 limited to 118. The LTs are limited to 155 just like the SS. Again, im not saying going that fast (130-150) is the smartest or safest thing to do but it can be done quite easily...

Thats still roughly 29 lbs for fronts and 33lbs for rears. Im sure it couldnt be that hard to find after market wheels lighter than that. And like the OP said, cost is not an issue.

Probably not. I had the original 19" painted rims and went with 20" rims that were actually slightly lighter than the 19s and look way better IMO. You can get a mix of both. Its how much $$$ you want...

If your taking it to a dealer they will reset it for you (or should at least). If youre changing your own oil or going to a non-dealer location. Then, yes you have to go the the oil life monitor...
