you shouldn't have lost mileage... at worst, it would have stayed the same, but you should have gained some...

recent updates to the diablo tune templates now allow the setting of some additional parameters that really improve the A6 shifting... giving you nice firm/hard shifts when you get on it...

correct... as long as he restored the original backup stock tune to his car, it will be unlocked/reset and can be used on another vehicle.

yes... the Trinity has an input that would allow you to do that... that way you could log the wideband AFR together with the other necessary parameters...

I DO know... I do work for tuner manufacturers... and NO.. you can not permanently disable the trouble codes and CEL from showing up, unless you install a tune to your car that has those items...

and to permanently disable the codes, you will have to install a tune, so if you go that route, there's no sense waiting to fully tune your...

My car's in need of a clay-barring, polish, wax, etc etc...

other data is stored in the ecm, one such item being mileage - and when it doesn't match what's on the odometer or what's stored in other modules, then, they know you've swapped...

all they did was clear the trouble code... so yes, it is always going to come back on until you get a tune done in order to have it disabled in the tune...

does nothing for you except to screw up the tune/fueling...

get rid of it and put the stock GM maf sensor back on...

a lot more gains can be had from a custom tune for it, since there are many many things that can be adjusted in those...
