Yeah, if the first units burn a hole in the hood and melt the belts, hoses, and wiring.....sticking those little heaters down low will look a lot better.

If you can get by without an additional oil pump or pumps, you should. I can't see where that's arguable. If the packaging dictates a turbo positioning that requires pumps, so be it. No engineer is...

I'm not a fan of welded up headers on turbo systems either. Been there, done that. Have to say that I'm not a fan of mounting turbos anywhere but on the top side of the engine either. ANY turbo...

Nice choice on the cam. I'm running a 224/234 116+2 custom grind under a Heartbeat blower on my Vette. That BlownChevy fellow is a pretty righteous guy to deal with too:thumb: If you haven't already,...

If you don't smooth the top of that piston, you're inviting detonation. If you do smooth it, you'll be taking quite a bit of material off the top of the piston. Your compression ratio will be down in...

I disagree with this part of your post just a little. Just because the boost isn't going up doesn't mean the power isn't going up. A TVS typically has a pretty flat boost curve. Boost level will vary...

I've run both. They're both TVS2300 blowers. The Heartbeat comes in a smaller package and fits in places where the jackshaft Maggie might not. It also runs cooler and recovers quicker going in and...

You can make the same peak power with a much smaller cam. With the smaller cam, you'll make more power on the low end too. No way should a cam only car pull harder than yours on the bottom end.

Yep, boost level doesn't determine your fuel needs. Power production does. If your power goes up, your fuel needs go up too. No matter the boost level.

Average duration minus (2 X LSA). In your case 227+243/2=235....235-(116X2)=3. Your cam has 3 degrees of overlap. The "positive overlap cams bleed boost" thinking is WAY overdone.
