Mine will be notchy still after the engine is warm and i've been driving for about 5-10 mins. It does not get very cold here except for in the mornings. And I always warm my car up for 5 minutes...

I just drove home and had a notchy feel in 6th gear too. None of my gears "feels smooth" but 1st and R are the worst in my car, followed by 2nd, 6th, and 4th. 3rd and 5th seem to be the "smoothest".
