I disagree, IMO LS7 was the best factory LS motor made. Yes there were valve train issues on the early LS7 Corvettes, but every LS motor design has had valve train issues in select circumstances.

I love the exclusivity of the 5th gen Z/28s, but every generation has had a z/28 so it would be pretty disappointing if they didn't continue it with the 6th gen.

It does however need to be priced...
