Traction control "off" unless turned on manually?

Well ,i made it through inspection and I assume they really didnt look too close at the DRL's.What I did is pull one green wire from the backside of the switch and this seemed to disable my ability...

I actually did disconnect one of the green wires...

I actually did disconnect one of the green wires out of the plug today and it made no change,i was still able to turn off the drl's manually.perhaps i have to remove both green wires from the plug.
