Couple things......you dont have to take the calipers off. I scuffed, taped ans painted mine. 3yrs and still looks new. You can pay big money on the kits.....or get high temp paint and save a bundle....

To be honest...I have yet to change mine (2010)...and see no need. But if you feel the need...do a drain n fill. A flush is not necessary. Just my opinion.

Cant say I have ever heard of an issue. I have owned LS1/2/3 and never had any issues. LS1&2 were cammed. Only 23k on the Camaro. Guess time will tell.

Diff/trans fluid and cabin filter. To a lesser extent.....plugs, coolant and brake/clutch reservoir. Really no need to"flush" anything....just drain and fill.

I have bounced from 91-93 on a regular basis and never had a problem. When I road tripped west, I even ran 89...because, in some places, I had no choice. I think you will be fine.
