I painted mine with flat black BBQ pit paint. Looks great after 6 months. The mufflers don't get that hot. So you don't really need header paint.

Sounds like the weep hole in one of your mufflers...

Sounds like the weep hole in one of your mufflers may be clogged. It is a common problem. Run a small drill bit into the drain hole in the bottom of the muffler and see if any water comes out.
