No idea how they got it off, but they didn't need to drill any holes anywhere.

SS wheels fit just fine. I use a set of extra wheels/tires from my 2011 2SS/RS in the fall/winter when the ZL1 get's ready to be stored and the stock wheels/GY's are stored inside in the basement.

Smart move. Replacing the isolator yourself may void the warranty, but if GM changes the SC, you'll retain the warranty which would now be for 10 years or 120,000 miles.
