I have 18x10 all the way around. Lighter smaller wheels equals better acceleration, better handling, better stopping, better gas mileage, better tire selection, cheaper tires, ect.

You'll be fine. I broke my axle because I'm super aggressive and an M6. Auto guys' axles last a lot longer. Tires are CRAZY sticky. I would still be running them if I hadn't gotten a crazy good deal...

I have 4.57s in my M6 SS vert. I also have shorter 27" tires so it's actually more like having 4.85s. I absolutely love it! All six speeds are so much more usable now. The car feels 1,000 lbs...

I had those rear tires on 18x11s also. Tread wear was horrible (didn't have much to begin with either), hope you have better luck.

Broke it before i even had a chance to go to the track (I still went after it was hurt and it held up, so that's a good thing). It was only a CV joint, but still, sucks that my car is down for a few...
