Close the Handel

The rub mark you have is from not closing the pull_down/release handle.
Make sure you always close it after you open it. I raise mine 6" then stop and close it and the open the vert top the rest...

Gas Mileage

One big thing to remember is GM set gas mileage for the highway at no greater speed than 60 mph.

So check your mileage at that speed and see what you get.
