So, lift the front end, put on stands, then lift the back and put on stands? Is there a better resting spot to have the hydraulic jack sitting at while the car is on stands?

What is the best way to connect two different gauges of wire?

The wiring I have for the led scanner and the fuse connector (sorry can't think of the name) that prevents electrical damages are two different gauges of wire. The fuse wiring is pretty thick...
