I ran a Protourqe 3200 for a while, it was fine for everyday use but sucked for a hole shot, I'm now running a FTI 3600 and its a tire frier. Converter may be holding you back.

It may be that a dead hook is not a good thing....

It may be that a dead hook is not a good thing. If people seem to think it's leaving weak a dead hook may be pulling down your rpms. A slight amount of spin may remedy that.

Both switches are momentary. I may be able to do one on/off and one momentary if that's what you need. If your shifter uses the factory knob it will be a direct fit.

I'm right there with you, 314,000 on my 1989 k10 pickup, original engine and drive train.

The Camaro has 94,000, most of those have been cammed and stalled around town miles.
