It increases horsepower because it decreases friction on your internal engine parts. I put it in my Camaro and I did have a horsepower increase.

I'm going to try my version of an intake this...

I'm going to try my version of an intake this week. I'm going to use a Spectre flex hose and a crankcase breather filter that I will put on before the rubber elbow piece.

So who has the most miles so far???

Just curious as to how many miles everyone has on their Camaros so far.

I have put about 5,700 miles on mine since I took delivery on 7/8/2009

I was concerned about it maybe letting too much heat hit the hood and damaging the paint finish on the other side.

Is the cover really needed

The engine looks so much better without the ugly black generic cover. If I leave it off will anything be affected???
