I am having a third Torque converter put in the car tomorrow. There was a bulletin for the dash board issue and for the gas tank issue. No bulletin for the heater fan.

Broken shards? Just flushing them does nothing. What broke that cause the shards? I think the replacement converters are not the correct match for the engine / trans. We will see.

Are you kidding? They will not issue a recall for this. It seems like they are doing everything they can to sweep it under the rug. I am taking mine back again for the third time.

Thanks BNB ! I had my tc replaced at 5200 miles. It drove fine and now the shutter is coming back. Are you telling me that is something different? I am close to calling a lawyer.

I had my torque converter replaced approx 2 months ago. The shutter is back but at a lower rpm. First it was at 40 mph and 18-1900 rpm and now it is 40 mpg and 1200 rmp all the way up to 18 rpm....
