With red locktight on it? Good luck with that. I've never used any type of locktight on Maggie blower pulley bolts. The underside of the bolt heads that I've used were serrated and locked pretty...

Why do you think the Heartbeat tensioner won't work? I'm running the smallest pulley (81mm) on mine with no issues. I used the smallest Goodyear Gatorback belt that two guys could cram on there. I...

I'm running two Maggie TVS2300's. One is a front drive on a 6.0L truck motor. Other one is a Heartbeat on an LS3 Vette. Both run at 12 to 14 degrees over ambient at cruise. You've got issues if your...

You'd be in the upper 600's with a manual transmission. I have no clue how to convert that to the way you're configured. The motor will make the power, no doubt.

Better keep an eye out for belt...

A 1.9, 2.3, or 2.9L p/d blower will easily hit your goals. There won't be enough difference between them to notice....despite what's been reported here. Buy the one that's the least expensive, the...

So....what do you think the LSA blower gave you that the 2.3L (bigger) Maggie didn't? I understand you like the looks, but damn, that seems like a lot of money spent for a sideways move...at best.

You'd see some minor gains at your current power level. Now, overdrive the rear pulleys, add a 3.8" front pulley, add a cam, ditch the cats, and that bigger throttle body and ported snout will show...

Some just really, sincerely, don't want to fool with a set of turbo's and all that goes with them. Plain and simple.

A bigger tank won't help much when it's all said and done. Maybe stave off the hot temps very temporarily, but that's about it. When that extra coolant is heated up, you simply have more hot coolant...

He's probably looking at 11-12psi if his belt doesn't slip. I'm running an 81mm and I see about 9.5psi. I have long tube headers and a blower cam though.

If you get your fueling "right", you shouldn't have any trouble hitting your numbers. You're spinning the blower fast enough and moving enough air. Adding meth would give you a little octane cushion...

If your power goals are high, there's no sense in doing this. As mentioned, you're going to run out of valve train stability and oiling long before the benefits of a shorter stroke bottom end can...

If you want to do it on the cheap, use a 4.8L truck crank and rods. The connecting rods are longer so the pin position on off the shelf LS3 pistons would work. You'd just have to spec a higher...

Unless the cam is pretty aggressive, I wouldn't add a higher stall converter with a p/d blower. Especially a TVS. With a centri, I would if qtr mile/stoplite performance really matters to you.

As mentioned, a little more camshaft is more important with a p/d blower. Anything you can do to lower the boost will also lower IAT's. Not quite as important with centri's and turbo's because they...

You're 100% dead nuts correct. The vast vast majority don't want to pay for and don't want to live with those kind of power numbers though. The OEM's don't want to warrant them either.

If the centri blowers were all that superior, why don't the OEM's use them? They can't be that stupid. If it was a cost thing, at least some of the high end, low volume sports cars would use them....

Yup. As long as you don't over cam it. Go too big on the cam and you can significantly reduce the bottom end power.

If you paid Whipple for the blower with the warranty, they have to honor it. If you paid a third party (as in, the one that went out of business), you're pretty much skrewed.
