Lug nut question

I put on my 10 spokes today and figured I would get some nice chrome lug nuts instead of the open ended ones to make it look better. The lugs fit just fine on the front but do not fit on the rear...

jacked up the car and the wiggled the tire around...

jacked up the car and the wiggled the tire around and didn't hear anything. tire was solid with little play. I noticed after that the noise was gone.

on my way home today i noticed a clunking noise coming from the front of the car on the passenger side. It seems to be more noticable at slower speeds but when you turn the wheel it almost feels...

just bought a 2000 Z28. its in great shape. the only issue is when I turn the ac off there's a rattling noise. it goes away when the ac is on. any ideas? thanks
